Spring Thing Winners
Monday, April 13, 2009 at 10:07AM I'm so sorry it's taken me so long to get these winners posted. It's been a busy and hectic time, but I've finally selected the winners!
As always, looking through all the submissions was inspiring--I saw several techniques that I want to try and several projects I want to make. I hope you all take the time to look at the projects, not just the winners, but every project; I think it will be well worth your time.
I loved the spring theme--you created a lot of flowers, birds, and butterflies, and there were also a few celebrations of new babies, which is only appropriate since spring is a time of new birth.
As a side note, there were still a dozen or so images that I couldn't view. I'm not sure why--maybe I don't have access to certain sites--but I hate when I click on a submission and can't see it because I know someone went to at least a little trouble to share a project.
As a reminder, once you've completed your project, scan it or take a picture. Upload the file to your blog or an online gallery, and then come back here. Leave a comment on your entry with a link; be sure to link to a specific web page and not to your image file. (Please don't e-mail me your files; only projects submitted with links will be eligible.) Once you've submitted a project to the challenge, please come back and make sure the link is working.
And now, with no further delay, our Spring Thing winners!
