Birthday Card Frenzy Creative Challenge

I’m always looking for good birthday card ideas—I send out dozens of cards every month! All of our Stampin’ Up! employees get a personally signed greeting, so it keeps me busy! And then there are family and friends on top of that. . . .

Well, you can see why I’m looking for some great ideas. So share your birthday cards with me this month. Anything birthday goes; let make it a birthday card frenzy! And chances are we’ll all come back to this challenge all year long, whenever we need good birthday card ideas.

I made a very pretty but simple card. Its perfect for mass production so you always have a birthday card on hand. Just one colour of ink, two of cardstock and some ribbon and its done! You can change the colours to suit, but I used Concord Crush and Whisper White. And best of all its uses the Strength and Hope Stamp set, so I'm supporting Breast Cancer research at the same time.

I love finding new ways to use our punches! When my downline suggested that the new Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer Punch could make the bow for a gift, I ran with it and made this birthday card:

This would definitely be an easy idea to adapt with different colors for all ages!

When your daughter is going to birthday parties for 7 year olds, I find that what's **inside** the package gets more attention than what's outside.

So to attract a little more attention to the card, I decided to go with a card covered in glitter and rhinestone bling...perfect for 7 year old girls!

The Jumbo Eyelet corner with ribbon is added to make it easy to tie the card to the handles of a gift bag (stamped, of course!)

No matter what the age, I think most of us gals are happy to have glitter and rhinestones :)

A quick card attached to a gift bag made the perfect gift for miss 11, inside was a stamp set and wheel, she loves to stamp, loves rich razzleberry and anything to do with Paris :)

Here is another birthday card I made - it is the never-ending card featured in the Stampin' Success magazine recently. So much easier to create than what it looks like - it takes longer to decorate than the assemble the card. Very fun for kids and adults -

enjoy!

I wouldn't say that this is an easy card to demonstrate, but it would be perfect for someone that you want to give a little extra effort to! I'm sad to say that the photo doesn't give the colors their true impact -- they are lovely IRL, especially with the striped dsp in the larger bottom layer.

Hi Shelli,
I have a Father's Day card on my blog that could be used for a great birthday card as well. It is done with the Sail Away Stamp and MDS. I have had several people ask for a tutorial to do the sky & water. I am working on that & should have it posted soon. Thanks for looking!
