(And besides, is it ever too early for love?!)

Our new Spring Catalog features some great products that can be used for Valentine's Day projects, but you can use any Stampin' Up! products to create your submissions. And while I know not all countries celebrate Valentine's Day, I also know that love is celebrated around the world, so I hope everyone will feel free to contribute their "I love you" projects.

We all get to be a little selfish once in awhile, right? This is one of those times for me!

It’s our turn to host Christmas this year, and we always have a nice Christmas dinner. This month I’d love for you to share holiday table decoration projects. Name cards, place settings, table decorations. . . whatever you want to share. You can do just one project or an entire ensemble.

I can’t wait to see your ideas, and hopefully you’ll all benefit from seeing these great ideas too! Thanks in advance for helping us out with our Gardner Family Christmas!

This year we were given a specific challenge: Create a project with no more than two layers (hey wanted to focus on simple projects that would work great at workshops and other events).

You all know I love layers, so this was definitely a challenge for me! After Founder’s Circle, I’ll share my swap with you; I’m curious to see all the other swaps at Founder’s Circle next week. I’d love to have you join us in this challenge as well. So this month (sorry, I posted this late, so it won’t be a full month) let’s limit it to two layers, and start creating!

I love that idea because it provides a perfect opportunity for all of us to focus on our favorite new products, so I thought we’d continue with that same challenge this year and make this an annual tradition.

I have lots of favorite projects, and I might post a few projects myself on my blog. . . notice the might! It’s a busy time of year with lots of events and activities and deadlines, but I understand the value of taking time out for creativity. So don’t hold your breath, but you can cross your fingers! (smile)

You’ll notice that this challenge is days late—it was supposed to go up June 1. I knew what it was going to be and even had it written, but simply forgot to hit the “post” button. Thanks to a few vigilant readers for asking about it. So I apologize for not having a June challenge, but I’m posting the July challenge a few days early. Woo hoo . . . .kind of.

We have some great masculine products that would be perfect for a Father’s Day project. Plus, I’m always amazed at how some creative minds find ways to use products that don’t even look masculine to make perfect projects for men.

I’m sure we’ll all have fun checking out the inspiration, and even if you post a project on the last day, if someone sees it and falls in love with it, there will be enough time to make it.

A quick note: I realize we didn’t do a Mother’s Day Creative Challenge this year. We do that often, so I wanted to try something else this year. But that doesn’t mean I don’t appreciate all the mothers out there as much as I do the fathers! Happy Mother’s Day!
