Punch-Art Bookmarks

For Easter this year, I originally planned to create bookmarks for each of our grandchildren. I’ve never done punch art before, but a friend came up with a few project ideas for me—which I loved—so that was the plan.

Along the way, the plan changed (as plans so often do), and I ended up doing something different for Easter. But these bookmarks are perfect punch-art projects (I was amazed to see  how she created the different pattern pieces!), and they’re simply too cute not to share. . .

I’ve included a photo of each bookmark, along with the “pattern” for each bookmark (except the butterfly, because it was pretty self-explanatory).

Enjoy!

Love these! The tulip flower one would be a beautiful little something to add to a mother's day gift or to convert any of them to a gift tag!

Thanks so much for sharing these with us. I think the dog is my favorite, but they're all great. I hope you can find the time to get into punch art and make these for your grandchildren for next year! You'll enjoy it.

They are so cute but I can't find the bookmark base. Is it a new Big Shot die?
These are soooooo cute! I love the lamb, the tulip and the penguin. Thanks for blessing my day. :)

WOW! what a great project! They look easy enough to do - I was thinking of doing bookmarks for my Open House that I hold in July - I may have to incorperate some of these.
Thank you so much for sharing.

I've just started adding punch art as a way of demonstrating to my customers some quick and easy ways to use their punches and leftover card and designer paper scraps. It's not only a fun way of reaching out but also a really effective way of increasing sales, because they just "have to have that punch". Your samples are absolutely adorable and it will be fun incorporating them into a punch night. Thanks so much for sharing!

These are so cute! What did you use to make the actual background bookmark? Is it made from a bigshot die?

What a great idea, and thank you for sharing the pics of how to do it.

For those asking what made the background piece, I'm not entirely sure since I don't own it, but I think it is from the table setting die.
