Around the World in 16 Days

Farewell! I’m heading on a whirlwind trip around the world and thought I’d let you know that I’ll probably be off the blogosphere for a bit.

Sterling and I leave tomorrow to go halfway around the world to celebrate with our South Pacific incentive trip achievers. Then the next week is our Europe Convention, and it actually made more sense to just travel straight to Europe rather than coming back to Utah first, so it feels like we’ll travel around the world in just a couple of weeks!

I’m not sure what kind of access I’ll have to the Internet at any point during this adventure, so I thought I’d manage expectations. I will be blogging about both events, just not sure when. How’s that for definitive?

I am looking forward to spending time with our wonderful demonstrators in both parts of the world, and I’m looking forward to spending time with my sweetheart as well! Then, after two weeks of travel, I’m pretty sure I’ll be excited to get back home and sleep in my own bed!

So, I’ll be in touch. . . sometime. (smile)

Oh my, it sounds exhausting and exciting as well. I spent 30 days in Europe in 1998 with mom; it was a wonderful and amazing but very tiring, hotels every night and sightseeing from dawn to dusk every day.

I will look forward to the posts on your trip and the events.

Shelli, I hope that you and Sterling and all of the SU staff and South Pacific demos enjoy the incentive trip in Broome which is back in my home state of Western Australia. I have visited Broome although it was many years ago and I loved how the rich red dessert soil hits the pristine white beach sand which then merges into the beautiful turquoise blue Indian Ocean at Cable Beach. Oh and enjoy the beautiful Cable Beach sunsets too!!

Hi Shelli,

I can't wait for the European Convention! The last one I managed to get to was in Surrey (UK) two years ago and I had my 8 week old daughter with me - needless to say she's not coming this year :)

Hi Shelli: I am a SU frequent stamper, but very disappointed about the recent SU clearance sale. For two days (Sat thru Mon), my demonstrator has tried repeatedly to order 10 sale items and your website is telling her that these things are all sold out. But these items remain up on the clearance rack, challenging all of us to wonder what is going on. Please, if items are sold out can you not have your staff update the website? ONE item was taken down this afternoon, but all the other items remain, but my demonstrator says your computer is telling her the items are gone. What is going on? Thanks, JoAnne
