Day 10: A Labor of Love

Some of my spreads were pretty simple, but this spread was definitely a labor of love. . . on several levels.

I love my sweetheart, Sterling.

I love an elegant, vintage look and style.

I love layers.

And I love creating.

Captured it all on this spread!

It’s my favorite so far.

But I’m not done! Like I mentioned earlier, I haven’t created something for the sake of simply creating in so long, and I love it! I’m planning on finishing this creative journal, and I’ll share my spreads with you as I finish them.

I’d  love to see anything you’ve created simply for the sake of creation. Share. . . .

Shelli...I was so inspired over your journal at Convention...I went right home and put together an Altered Book Club that will be starting in September. Our first meeting will be for lunch to get to know each other, and then we will go SHOP for our books at one of the local used book stores!!! I found 3 books that are gonna work great for this project. It will be ongoing, as you said in your presentation....This will be so much fun. Thanks for the inspiration!!!

I would like to know what kind of book Shellie started out with as her base for this gorgeous book!! Was it one of the on-board books (now gone), or what kind?
