A Labor Day Family Picnic

We got together on Monday evening—early because all the kids had school the next day!—for a Labor Day swim and picnic. It’s the first time we’ve all been together for a LONG time. . . well, at least way too long for me, anyway! Everyone came early enough that they could swim a bit, then we barbecued, enjoyed the beautiful weather, and still got home early enough that bedtimes could be met!

Short and sweet, but a perfect way to end a great Labor Day weekend!  Enjoy the photos!

What a fun day to spend together. I can not get over how big all the kids are getting!
See you next week!

Thanks for sharing so much of your personal life & beautiful family with us. Looks like there are some Ute fans in the family!

Such lovely photos. I can see Kona and Makai but where are Jason and Sage?

Does Sage not live near you? It seems we don't hear/ see very much of her. Also, I hope this is taken the right way. It is not a complainant, but a sincere question. (Perhaps your daughters or SIL's may need to answer. :) ) How do the hubbies feel about spending so much time with the Gardner side of the family? It can be so hard to find the time to balance 2 sides of family while still being able to develop your own family tratitions, etc. It is a real blessing that you are able to have your family with you for so many of the holidays, events, etc. but I just wonder how the SIL's feel about that & how your daughters balance it all. Thanks!
