Our Halloween Tree

At Brick Canvas we have a tree in the lobby, and people are always asking the guest specialists why we have our Christmas tree up year round. What they don’t understand it it’s not a Christmas tree, it’s a holiday tree! I love holiday décor and love the festive flair that the tree provides when people walk in the building. Hence the tree. . .

Here’s what the holiday tree looks like for Halloween. It’s pretty simple; I’m sure we’ll add more decorations in coming years. In particular, I wanted to show off two of the hand-stamped projects from the tree—our garland (you can see how quick and easy it is to make!) and our skull tree topper.

Typically I’m not a fan of skulls and skeletons, but it’s hard to resist anything covered in glitter! Even a skull. We added Designer Series Paper hat and bow, plus a few fun accents, and even a scary skull starts to look adorable.

Happy Halloween!

This is fabulous Shelli, I just love it! Halloween is slowly getting 'bigger' over here in the UK and a lot of families now do decorate their homes and trick or treat. My daughter especially loves Halloween. I hope you are recovering well from the accident and just wanted to say that you will be missed at European Convention although we all understand and are looking forward to seeing Sarah on stage. Hugs x

Yes, with enough glitter, even a skull can be ADORABLE! Cute. Cute.

I think the tree is great! I was at brick canvas not too long ago and saw it, it's better in person I have to say. I got a few fun ideas to do at my home.

This is such a fun fall tree! I would totally love to do this but I have a hard enough time getting out/putting away my Christmas ornaments--if I had to do it for Halloween and Thanksgiving too, my home would be a hot mess (the DH would not be happy!) Maybe since my baby will be graduating, I can scale my tree down to a smaller size...um, yeah, NO! Thanks so much for sharing and keep up the PT (prayers are still being offered!)
