Back on the Road Again!

It’s here—the moment I’ve been looking forward to for weeks—and here’s the photo I promised to share.

Yesteday I got the go-ahead to start driving, and I love being back behind the wheel. I feel so independent! The ordinary, everyday things that become so important once they are taken away. . .

My destination today was the home office and our official welcome of Tami White, Stampin’ Up!’s fourth million-dollar achiever! I’ll be sharing more about that with you later, after I get to spend most of the day with Tami and her mother tomorrow. . . .

Congratulations Shelli, that is so wonderful. I couldn't drive for 3 weeks and was blessed with many willing friends. But we take all those pieces of independence soooo for granted. Enjoy driving, even if it is to go out and look at the fall leaves, or park by a pond and watch ducks frolic. Just a drive with no plan, except to be joyful. It's so wonderful to stop in the moment and let the gratitude and awareness that some are not able to perform this activity wash over you (with the tears it brings). Keeping good thoughts that you continue to progress and increase independence in all aspects.

How awesome. Well done Shelli. I am proud of you for all you have gone through over the last few months. You have come a long way.

Now with this renewed independence please take it carefully and slowly. You have still a way to recover.

Enjoy being behind the wheel again.

Are your feet back on the ground yet? So glad to hear that your journey back to normal is advancing so well. And quickly! It IS telling to remember all of those things we do without giving a second thought to the freedom they bring us. And, I'm quite sure, you're ready to move on to the sights and smells of the holiday season.
So, buckle that seatbelt and let the fun begin!
Butterfly kisses and teddy bear hugs...and take gentle care...
